When playing a DVD (the player attached with good component cables) the picture looks almost HD...The Sharp was not that good and I just returned it to the seller (lost $30 shipping charge!) when i got this Samsung...I just like this TV so much that I would like to recommend it to everyone who is looking for an LCD TV...
nice color and very clear might of bought alittle bigger thougt it would be bright and clear enough for bedroom tv,,, its a 13x12 bedroom but only if your less then 10 ft from it...beds on opposite side of room and just not big enough to do that with...But a very nice Tv just keep it closer to you...
