I purchased a Memorex external USB DVD for this and it has worked just fine...and far less expensive than the external drive recommended for the Q1...To me, a good shoot-em-up needs a big screen and sound, silly to ask this to do that...Plenty of ram, good ports for accessories, sd slot, keyboard, alternate screen keyboard (pretty cool) and a very bright easy to read screen...
The screen is bright and crisp, and it's got ports for everything I need, and good battery life (over 4 hours when new!) The built-in mouse/joystick is next to useless, and the tablet/touch screen features aren't very useful either...Recommend getting the antiglare screen protector for it...I was pleasantly surprised at the decent boot speed and overall performance...
