Full of features, easy to use ....High on battery power, and a little weighty without a tripod ....The quality is excellent and the SamsungPro815 has a good bit of weight behind it, so there is why you could hold the camera for too long without a tripod...It is one model I would recommend due to the build quaility, that has gone into make this a true leader in it's class......
Once everything settled out and my Blue dot arrived (1st 99 error and 2nd a bad mirror) this thing shoots like a 50 cal...I also have a Sony DSC100 (very good), a Canon EOS 630 film slr, a Minolta 160c film compact, and a Pentax MZ50...The lens performs very well across the whole zoom range and focuses in good light accurately and reaonably quickly...
This first reason being is that this camera has no image stabilizer, wich is suicide in terms of good low light and ambient light photography...Samsung's trick of speeding up the shutter and boosting the ISO works at best occasionally and when it does the images are in dire need of retouching work!
