Four-in-one memory card slot, good manual controls for a budget unit...Poor video and stills, low-quality construction, digital zoom useless at high levels...If you are shopping for a low- to mid-price digital camcorder, there are plenty of models available that represent a better value than the SamsungSC-D365...While this midrange model in Samsung's line of MiniDV...
At 3000 lux, the D365 produced a wan and grainy image with a distinct lack of sharpness...The D365 also tends to blow out whites and produced some instances of a bluish-purplish noise...Looking at the results of the Elura, everything seems to pop, but not in a bad way...At 60 lux, D365 produced a surprisingly good image...

But light just cover a little distance, and the cuality of the image/video is not good in dart light condition...Practically everything I've shot with this thing has turned out bad in some way or another...It's very simple to use and has very good picture quality...
Certainly not for the very serious and pro, but for 99% of us, this fills the bill...I borrowed a tripod which made it much easier...I would recommend trasferring to dvd with this (or any camcorder) through a dvd recorder and hot wire as opposed to trying to do it through the computer...
