Speaker quality is okay, bit lacking in bass but not bad for built ins...I strongly recommend taking a look at it in person if you're picky, but otherwise the picture quality is superior to any of the Phillips and Others I saw in this price range...You will be good to go with this television for years to go...

This is the perfect middle ground, all the pros of HDTV without any of the cons of the HDTV prices...But this is a real minor inconvenience because if I really wanted good sound, I'd fork over for a sound system...Also, though video games look real good on the TV, especially for the HD supported Xbox games, it bugged me that it takes some time to change to video mode...
It also displays good standard signals, which you cannot say of LCD TVs...I have looked at name brand LCD TVs and they cost twice as much and the PQ is not as good...nice design, good price poor color, complete failure of tv, horrible warranty support I bought this 12-05...
