We wish we could say that the 19-inch SceptreX9G is an exception, but at slightly less than $1,000, it's not...Budget-conscious consumers and companies (other than design firms), should give the X9G serious consideration...

Colors are good (just a tiny bit washed out but still very good...Good value with mail-in rebate ($169CDN at the time...Worth it to get LCD! Highly recommend! I have been delighted with this monitor, the response time is outstanding, it does DVD viewing justace, The only negitive thing about this monitor was the Rebate non sense, I wish they would just stop the B.S...

Res is a lil lower than my new video card but honestly who needs it above that on a 19" display...The base is a little awkward, since it is mostly towards the front of the monitor, I would recommend wall mounting it...And has just under the required amount of dead pixels for a return in BOTH monitors...
Overall, I'd highly recommend this display...the one year manufacturer's warranty is poor, but you can buy an extended warranty at Sam's Club which are very cheap...This was my first LCD monitor and overall I was happy with it...until it stopped working (DVI then analog) after about 2 months...
