Low cost of consumables....Poor plain-paper text output; fairly slow....Sharp Electronics is getting into the act with the AJ-1800, the company's official debut in the color inkjet market...To its credit, the AJ-1800 is inexpensive, and it boasts good color output, adequate speed, and a relatively low cost of consumables......
This is the first inkjet we've seen from Sharp, and as the cheapest printer in this test the AJ-1800 was in prime position to make a big impression...The first sign of Sharp's cost-cutting was in its documentation...This test was on coated paper, and sadly it couldn't continue the good form on plain paper...We never expected a great turn of speed from the AJ-1800,...

I have used this printer for 1 year, I do not understand why users say they get poor photo prints, I get really good quality photo's printed using this printer and works fairly fast...Only problem I got is with Drivers for Windows XP !! Took me two months to finally get a driver that would work on XP and it was not on www.sharp.com Refills are hard to get,when you do find them on the internet,they...
Great quality prints at a fast speed...This is a great printer, and I highly recommend this to anyone who does a lot of printing, no matter what it be...I shudder to think how the feeder will perform after it begins aging...
