I have been using camcorders since the late eighties...great flexibility in usage,no akward hand angles,compact, good still pic quality+details,excellent close ups batt power,filmin in lo lite condition,motor a bit noisy on start up 1...i think its a very good daytime camera and also very light...
I found that Sharp VLz7u is good enough for me...But it looks good to me both on TV and after captured onto computer...Some of the most commonly used features like playback on TV, downloading to PC, editing, I think are easy to use and just plain fun! Anyway, I must emphasize that the overall quality of this camcorder is great...
Compact size, versatility for video and stills, good video quality Very poor and very expensive support system Purchased camera new...Good form factor Terrible Support!!!!!!!! (Edited January 24th by jthillam) Just recently, I tried plugging my camcorder into my computer via fire wire to stream the video, and burn it onto a DVD...You need a head cleaner for 25 bucks I recommend sony's......
