overall it's a great camcorder for high def footage...only thing i can recommend is if you wantbetter manual focus go for the hdr-sr11 or12 as they have a better manual focus and a larger hard drive other then that this camcorder will do and has a bigger digital zoom...The video quality is good ath AVCHD is easy to download to the computer...
Also the white-balance and color saturation seem to adjust a few seconds after change in the scene compared to very good steady lock by Sony's camcorder...Would recommend this one for anyone looking at a great price to features combination and not necessarily the top of the line features...Good recording time; image quality Proprietary Video file format I bought it for my parents...
