Highly recommend this product to anyone with stacks of old 8mm or VHS tapes that they want to transfer to DVD with minimum effort...Some will be bad out of the box...Others have complained about not being able to copy copy-protected VHS tapes (or a copy-protect DVD or DVR source...well that's not really a reason to give this a bad review...
Ok seriously, this product is labled wrong! I was expecting a camcorder that recorded straight to dvd, but no! This camcorder...So if you want to take a step BACKWARDS and get a VHS camcorder, go with this one...If not...I would take a pass on this one...
