It's a good camera, especially for the money, but the P100 will give you more bang for your buck...The new DSC-P150, like the P100, has a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 7.9- to 23.7-mm (35-mm equivalent: 38 to 114 mm) f/2.8-to-f/5.2 3X optical zoom lens, which retracts into the camera's body when powered down...We saw some noise (as we did with the P100), especially in the shadows, though...

Underwater housing, small, cheap cards, easy to use ....Time delay between pressing the button and camera taking the photo ....I hunted and hunted and trawled the reviews...The decision then was for the Cybershot P150 which does have its own housing ~ the MPK-PHB from Sony...I picked up the camera in a really good deal with almost £100 off list as it was old news and the new P200...
The motion picture mode is not as good as a true digital camcorder, but is definitely better than that found on most digital still cameras (and is not limited to any arbitrary length like on many competing cameras.) The optical zoom is easy to use, and operates flawlessly...I highly recommend this camera, and have never regretted buying it...Finally, if you don't need an ultracompact, I'd recommend...
