As always, glass is important and your system is only as good as its worst component...For "every-day" and "tourist" photos, the 18250 is a good all-in-one solution for most situations...Do they ever tell that there are many other factors to image quality, and noise is only a concern in low light and can be eliminated with a good flash...
All share the same, comfortable grip that uses a full-size lithium-ion "info" battery, and should feel good in most peoples hands...Image Quality (IQ), both sharpness and color wise, appear to be very good...Visually, those images I shot in poor lighting appeared reasonably good, but more serious testing needs to be done...
Overall I'm very happy with this camera...I have always perferred my film camera over digital because I believed the picture quality was just not as good (unless of course you spent a lot of money...The quality is as good as my film camera and the great thing is that I don't have to wait for my film to be developed...
