Even looks good when watching VHS tape! The only problem is that some analog tv channels just look plain bad (grainy and fuzzy...Overall I am very happy with my purchase I've had the opportunity to try a couple of HDTVs...Huge step up from the Toshiba, and a definite buy if money is an object, but but once I saw how good it was, I wanted to take the final step and get the top of the line 40" XBR4...
The only issue I haven't yet resolved is that I used a fibre optics cable for an audio connection from the TV to my tuner, and that hasn't worked; but the TV's own audio speakers are pretty good...The best picture on an LCD that one can purchase, its almost as good as a plasma...So we feel it is really a good time to buy the XBR4...
