It's weird having sound that's as good as a nice stereo when you're walking the dog...Too bad since they produce nice sound...The buds fit much better in my ears and I had a totally different experience with great mids, good treble, and very decent bass...
But after a one-day break-in period, they sound as good as any earbuds--sometimes better than even my expensive MDR-E888LP buds...The earbuds that came with my discman D-E446CK were pretty good...If you press in one them you get almost as good sounds as the supplied discman headphones sounded but I can't walk around like that...
