What the rather natty little NW-E75 actually does is take your exciting MP3 files and convert them into Sony's proprietary ATRAC3 codec when you transfer them across to the player...Transfer times to the player via USB 2.0 are good, apart from when copying MP3s across, where the conversion takes far too long...Fiddling with the transfer rates and formats produced interesting...
Best Looking set, superb quality and features...None found yet...It has got 100htz and 50 htz setting which apparently when you switch it to 50htz doubles the amount of lines to give you a better picture than the standard 50htz tv's...I bought the whole home cinema system in one hit and therefore got a good reduction on the price...The features are very good with two picture veiwing, or 8 picture channel...
Go to Sony's site and go to support for the NW-E75...If you do, the NW-E75 will load and play both file formats...With this new MP3 utility, the SonyNW-E75 is about the smallest, full function, longest battery life unit on the market...It is the same unit as the NW-E75 but will be 1gb memory...
I may be "challenged" in this regard, but last year I bought an MP3 player and never could get it to work...Overall, I found this player to be well worth the price...Mind you, it's a tad slow compared to mp3 files, but there's a good reason for this...
