And Sony does a VERY good job of *asterisk-sizing* the fact that this player will only play MP3s ONLY AFTER maditory file conversion which BTW, is only one way ie...Besides, the sound output is good enough for my needs (gym/run/etc) at the moment...Using this as a 1GIG flash drive is good as the transfer speed is half decent...
If you could create your own program and tried to make it bad on purpose you would not make it as bad as this...I download the 3.2 version and it is better but not good enough to curse involuntary at the monitor screen...There are some areas of improvement, but they hardly detract from the overall quality of the player...
