Excellent image quality
Attractive design...Lack of physical adjustments...It takes a moment to recognize the SonySDM-HS95P as an LCD monitor...its excellent detail in our group portrait photo test screen contributed to the highest overall graphics score we've seen for a 19-inch monitor lately...No aspect of the HS95P's aesthetic design is neglected......
Sony Electronics ' SDM-HS95P is an exceptional 19-inch LCD monitor, but it's right at the top of the category's price range...That's still a premium price, but the HS95P is a premium flat panel...Speaking of test screens, we never noticed it in regular use, but full-screen, solid-color images revealed a single bad or dark pixel near the lower left corner...

While I'm still not sure, as a designer, that I should be working from this, as color-wise it's not pro-level accurate (not to mention the 1280x1024 max resolution)--but nevertheless, it's a pretty darn good LCD and it is a clear step up over your garden-variety consumer-grade office LCD...Insanity! And the 3 year warranty is a good thing...Cut scenes in Knights of the OLd Repub II aren't bad even...
Edited December 27th by Pantheraleo) I really like the X-Brite display on this monitor...I then contacted Sony support and at first then seemed very concerned that a bad batch of monitors were on the market but in the end they closed my case since they didn't have any idea how to fix the problems...find a good deal on this and buy it...
For me it does everything great Text, Graphics, Movies, and FPS and Driving Games Price I have not seen any professional reviews of this monitor it is a SonySDM-HS95P February 05 build...Round edges seems squared and overall I have to say I wish I hadnt bought it...The price is converted from UK Sterling to US Dollars, as I'm in the UK...
