At $1,200 street, the 18.1-inch SonySDM-M81 has a high price, but it also has some attractive features, such as analog and digital support...The SDM-M81 would have been a big hit at this price a year ago, but increased performance and lower prices across the board leave it in a poor position to compete in today's market...I am driving my SDM-M81...

The response rate is between 20 and 30 ms (according to Sony's site), allowing for good picture quality even during fast screen changes...The instruction manual does a good job at guiding you through the process...Overall, I love this monitor and although it has a few flaws I wouldn't think twice about owning it...
