Very compact, lots of RAM...A bit pricey, integrated graphics...Sony's unique VAIO VGC-LS1 desktop computer for home users belongs more in a living room or den than a home office...The 19-inch widescreen LCD isn't as large as your average living room TV, but it's a much sharper image...There's also a Webcam built into the top of the display, so you can use this...
The screen is a wonder to look at and is a good size: It's visible from across the room, but not too big up close...It works well with SDTV cable and satellite broadcasts and serves as a good base station for digital cameras and music players...As it is, if you can overlook a couple of unmistakable glitches, the LS1 is still a good-looking, powerful Media Center PC...
Sleek all-in-one design; robust default configuration; includes TV tuner, Webcam, Wi-Fi....Expensive; screen sits too low; limited upgradability....Tell us what you like about this product...Instead you're stuck with the default configuration, but that's not a bad set of specs by any means...Tell us what you don't like about this product......
Nice design and performance iMac running XP outperforms it running windows apps I've used both the Sony and the iMac and find...I don't own it Nobody with brains will own it I can smell it from here...looks good its sony brand since the guy who gave it a three did so only......
Beautiful, aero-inspired desktop that trumps even an iMac...The LS1 is overall the best personal computer I have ever seen and it's remarkable design trumps the "mature" iMacs...It is only 2 months old & I registered it when I bought it! I guess it takes litigation to get them to do the right thing - so beware of the New Sony......
Lasted a little over a year, then the DVD drive would only recognize CDs, not DVDs...I would highly recommend this product...Also like the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse...
