At first I thought the Toshiba did not have good contrast, but after messing with the contrast & Brightness we got them looking about the same...This TV originally being released late in 2005 can be had for a good deal...If you are buying a TV it's never a bad idea to buy models that are being sold making way for new models...
Works great when it works Bulb keeps blowing out (3x 1st year alone) and they cost $200 EACH to replace I would not recommend buying this product until they sort out their electrical issues...I strongly recommend buying a different brand...Main viewing spot is about 13 feet from the 62-inch screen, and it rocks! Once you adjust the audio, the sound is pretty good without a surround system...
