I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY TOSHIBA LAPTOP TO ANYONE...It seems like a good idea to buy from a local store so if it does need service you can carry it in rather than trust it to the mail...I found out that the software loaded was a trial version (good for 60 days)and when I attempted to enter the software's "permanent" keycode, I got an "invalid keycode" message...

I have a problem with lcd monitor i it is disappearing and then nothing can be seen......If upgraded to 2GB of RAM and about a 80GB HD, it is an excellent product...When I sent it for repair, all ports were working...
large screen with good power from laptop battery life not the best A nice and light laptop for the money...The screen is very bright and large...fast moden fast computer just great none i brought this at best buy was on sale at the time 799 now it is 1000 i got lucky......
