Highlight detail is very good, but note that this image was shot under somewhat hazy sun (note the weak shadows...We had a run of bad weather, and bright sun was hard to find when we first shot this image...Very little noise, good detail in hair with almost no JPEG artifacts...The PDR-M3 performed very well in this test, and we really liked the ability it gives you to adjust the flash...

I still believe that it was a very good purchace...The rechargable Li battery has stood up well and logically hold good charge longer when not using the LCD as a view finder...I like the camera alot, and have found that I do not need to use image software to tweek the pictures to maintain good colors...
