Once the sound driver was installed, though, the sound from the two small speakers is pretty good with none of the sound volume problems I have encountered using XP on laptops from two other manufacturers...Overall - the U405-S2820 is a compact and very nice system for the money...The overall package is excellent for the price, which is about $1K less than the U405's slightly slimmer...
