I had looked at and listened to a few different subs from Polk, Klipsh and Jbl before finding the Velodyne sub at Costco for $150...It has the binding post speaker inputs instead of the clip type...The only disappointment with the construction is that the cone is coated fiber instead of poly, but from my experience with this sub I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for some solid bass...
Great for small to medium size rooms...I have had this unit for less than a month now...At this time Velodyne is the only sub I will use for home theater systems...
