Crystal-Clear Monitor!!!! I had to send the item to viewsonic because the sound was so low that you heard nothing...I have got the item back and the sound is a little louder but not good...However, if you have other speakers or only want sound for basic web browsing then it's a good deal...
My particular monitor had almost no backlight bleed and the colors were good enough that it's difficult to notice it's a 6-bit panel...i'm giving it a 5 to balance out the overall rating of the product...some users have reported problems when those have nothing to do with the monitor itself...I don't think the speakers are that bad......
