Although they can’t match those of the Asus, the speakers on the ViewSonicVG2030wm are rare in that they’re actually rather good...the OSD control buttons are minuscule and bunched together on the right-hand side...
Others, though, are more like the ViewSonicVG2030wm...Big, brash and startling, if not exactly a work of beauty, the VG2030wm commands your attention...Offering fairly strong audio quality, these make a good riposte to those who say integrated speakers aren’t worth bothering with...ViewSonic could have made it easier to change the colour modes, but the bottom line...
Good on-screen controls **Has 1 DVI and 1 VGA input (for legacy monitors) ** No dead pixels...Even though the speakers are a little annoying I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor to anyone...Overall this is a nice entry level monitor, I used it for gaming and don't notice any problems at all...
Overall I am VERY happy with the picture quality, clarity and brightness of the monitor...I suggest buying a separate pair of speakers if you're looking for good quality sound anyway...The audio control on the monitor is extremely difficult to use and good luck trying to change the volume in low light...
The screen is rich and vibrant and the response time is great...I would highly recommend this flat panel to anyone looking and you should be able to purchase it closer to $200 than $300 if you do a little searching...Very good brightness and clarity, but occasionally it gets stuck in a mode with the wrong aspect ratio and the only way to fix is pull up the Intel graphics card settings GUI to reset...
