Viewsonic has simply weighted the base and made it circular so that it can spin...From the OSD you can adjust the colour temperature, and contrast and brightness unless you?re using the sRGB setting, which locks them down...

Monitor works well and has a good warranty period...Worked with tech support to identify a bad backlight (shine a flashlight at the monitor while its on...Not good for any types of graphics editing - colors are terrible and does not match...
1) BRIGHT! and i mean eye burning bright, i had to tone it down just to save my eyes 2) outstanding color...the color depth, and the overall image quality is incredible 3) no "bleed...overall a great bargain, i would give it 4.8 stars if that were an option :) Recently, my wife wanted to replace her old 17" monitor with a larger widescreen monitor, so I bought this monitor for her as a birthday present...
Was thinking of going dual display with my new home system when I spotted this monitor at a price that made very difficult to pass up...Text isn't real sharp, not near a good as the Viewsonic VX910...For overall best results you must allow for some sacrafice in text sharpness...
