The VLED221wm is ViewSonic's first attempt at creating an LCD monitor with LED backlighting, and it has done a reasonably good job—although you will pay for the benefits it provides...Just don't think that the LEDs make the VLED221wm a wonder cure for everything you've ever wanted in an LCD monitor...The VLED221wm was also no better than the average LCD...
The VLED221wm is fairly stock in terms of features — unlike BenQ, ViewSonic includes a DVI cable in the package, as well as the requisite VGA cable, power cable, and a two-metre long 3.5mm audio cable to hook your PC into the monitor speakers...In theory it sounds great, but in practice it's vastly annoying, and on the VLED221wm in particular it results in a jarring high...
