I am completely satisfied with the purchase and recommend this device to anyone...I was able to view this unit side by side with the other available LCD's and it looked just as good, to me, as much more expensive models...HD Digital Cable content through the component connection looks very good...

But overall, the WestinghouseTX-42F430S LCD performs well as a 1080p HDMI/HDCP capable monitor, and is reasonably priced...Standard Definition at 480p looks good too but obviously not as good as 1080i...If one is that anal about black levels, than you should probably look for a really good plasma TV...
Too bad I bought this mainly for a PC monitor...For the price it's a good tv but i would say hold off just a bit longer for something with slightly less miliseconds and a higher contrast ratio or what not...but if not you should buy this tv then aside from the cons i've named i'm really enjoying this...
