The "wireless" communication is very sensitive to vehicle electrical noise...I would recommend the PRO3450 hard-wired model or another brand altogether (Escort, Bel...When it works it works great Communication Errors every other time you drive I have 4 Whistler remotes 2 wired and 2 of these useless wireless units...So take my advice buy the wired unit or spend the extra hundred bills...
