I have NetFlix and most of the movies are scratched and this dvd player seems to work around that, quite a bit, better than my older Sony...Oh, and its not blue-ray, but I won't pay those prices anyway...I have no complaints thus far.I just hope it stand the test of time like my old Sony, I had for about 15 years...
