2 things to note this Receiver upscales to 1080P is it great - no, good - no, decent - yes...Attach the microphone and have it auto calibrate your speakers and you are good to go! This receiver rocks! Halo 3 wouldnt have been the same without it! So the bad...The sound quality that comes from this is superb! I Highly recommend this receiver, it's one well built unit and a bargain at the price compared...

After my much older Yamaha died after a rough move North, I purchased the YamahaRX-VI800 from Crutchfield...This receiver is relatively easy to set up for the uninformed, does a good job upscaling between video formats integrated through one output, and has an easy to use remote control...I would have thought this was just my bad luck, but a relative had the EXACT same problem...
