I did not know when I purchaced the iRiver iHP-140 MP3 Player that it is not possible to replace the battery...For a device costing $400.00, I think that not only is this a design flaw but an outrage...Did iRiver think that we would rush to buy another $400.00 disposeable player?! compact, easy to carry easily breakable Got this MP3 player as a gift from a friend, and loved using it while jogging...Easy enough to load music onto...But the control level wore out somewhat easily; the underlying plastic pieces and electronic contact points gave out after only a few months...
