It does 80% of the work that you would do if you did a thorough, good clean yourself...However, I usually don't do a thorough good clean myself on mopping floors since I left the navy...You also need to buy their special cleaner, which to me, isn't that bad, since if you didn't use it, you'd be using another cleaner anyway...
I would recommend this to anyone who asked...On a good note, the cleaner that you can use with it smells nice.I won't purchase another iRobot product- it seems more hassle at a costly price...I highly recommend the iRobots, they're great! It vacuums, washes and dries my kitchen and bathroom tiled floors...
We have dirty, hairy, bearded beasts who track muddy water from the dish everywhere...Although it picks up the debris, I would recommend vaccuming first, especially if you have a lot of human hair, animal hair or lint on the floors since it will get tangled in the brush, which later you will have to detangle in order to clean it...Does a very good job of mopping and cleaning floor, but in larger areas...
