"It's a very good amp for the money...Your best bet would be to buy one from a dealer with a good return policy & test drive it for yourself...hi! the speakers to be powered should take about 170 watts if hi-passed at 80 hz.<p>the specs on Alesis look good, and especially the price looks good, however, there seems to be some resentment towards Alesis..." read more »

"They are cool but what I find I don't like is that unless you know what everychannel it is it can be difficult to find a good distortion and clean side by side...Overall it has some cool sounds on it that are fun to play...I love that I got a good deal on it and is perfect for my bedroom..." read more »

"I recommend it for musician's wanting to play small acoustic gigs indoors...I would recommend two of them (stereo mode) for medium sized indoor gigs or small outdoor acoustic gigs so you can double your acoustic coverage area...I would not recommend it for any type of full electric rock gigs..." read more »

"ALESIS RA 150 RA150 75 watts RMS into 4 ohms, 45 watts RMS into 8 ohms, 150 watts RMS bridged 8 ohms...The SE filter features a complex mechanism to attach the filter to the mic stand which took a good 20 minutes to figure out and put in place, having no instructions to hand...It is hard to justify spending over twice the money on the Reflexion Filter, even though it is a slightly sturdier construction..." read more »

Alesis iO14
Reviews: 5 user reviews
"Alesis support originally gave me bad advice, but they have come through and helped me resolve the problem...I bought an Alesis io14 so I could record up to four channels independently (using the included Cubase LE software) and so I could use the channel insert feature to insert my dbx 266XL compressor on one or two of the channels...Well no matter what I do, I cannot get inserts to work on the io14...Per the instructions that came with the io14, I'm inserting the TRS end of the insert cable into the io14's insert jack (under the mic XLR input port), and the other two ends into the DBX's input and output jacks, Tip to DBX input, and Ring to DBX output...The only way I can get the DBX's effects back to the io14 and into my computer is to cable the output from the DBX into the input of a *second* io14 channel..." read more »
