"I got this for $249.00, a price match from $299.00, which I think is a good deal...This amp is a bargain - good value...The effects sound good, but I have not had occasion to need them yet..." read more »

"Again, this is a good MIDI keyboard, not a good USB MIDI keyboard...No Opinion Overall Rating : 6 If you are looking for a 25-note MIDI controller keyboard, you should probably look elsewhere...If you are willing to void the manufacturer's warranty by bending the internal MIDI jack contacts, then this is a good little keyboard that will stand up to going on the road..." read more »

"Definitely worth the money for the sheer volume of sound you can crank out of these bad boys...I've had good luck with Alesis in the past so this rating is based on a past review, more than any contact I've had to make on this piece of equipment...Great Value pretty much sums up this amp..." read more »

"The QS6.1 has a better keyboard than any synth in its price range, and most non-weighted synths of any price...This particular line of instruments is not designed to be the dance/trance monster (leave that to the upcoming Andromeda...Except for brass and woodwind sounds, weak on most synths, nearly all the factory patches are thick and free from audio artifacts.Anyone who says they can't get good sound out of the QS line isn't trying..." read more »

"Let's fast-forward five years to the present day, where we encounter the latest stage in the QSs' evolution ? the QS6.2 (and its 88-key sibling, the QS8.2 ? curiously there is no QS7.2...Although higher bit-rate designs seem to be increasingly in vogue, is this factor enough to warrant the QS6.2's existence...Undeterred, I reckoned that the local music stores would be a better bet, as they were already familiar with QS synths and DM Pros...Returning at last to the present, you can imagine my surprise when, looking around the back of the new Alesis QS6.2, I saw...The reason I'm making such a fuss is that this burning-samples-onto-card facility is still such a darned good idea, and it had the potential to be a massive strength of the QS series..." read more »

"Normal working musicians - and those just aspiring to work more - could suddenly afford a no-compromise instrument for a very compromising price, and this tradition continues with the QS6.2 and QS8.2...Featuring serious sounds for serious players, the QS synths are loaded with stunning pianos and keyboards, a soup-to-nuts collection of orchestral instruments, killer drum and percussion kits, and enough amazing synth textures, fat basses, and sizzling leads to keep dance musicians and remixers grooving into the next time zone...Whether you need an 88-note workhorse or a do-it-all synth, the QS8.2 and QS6.2 keep your fingers flying for a down-to-earth price...QS8.2 features an 88-key, fully weighted hammer-action keyboard with velocity and release velocity..." read more »
