"The newsletter contains links to our latest PC news, product reviews, features and how-to guides, plus special offers and competitions...In fact our tests showed it to be on a par with the impressive ZyXEL PLA401, with an overall average of 34.1Mbits/sec compared to the ZyXEL's 34Mbits/sec speed...the Billions come with alternative three-pronged plug parts, which enable the body of each homeplug to be arranged either vertically or horizontally..." read more »

"If you have a static IP address we still recommend leaving 'Obtain an IP Address Automatically' set on this page, just in case your ISP told you the wrong IP address...The 5100S is not limited to just getting you online, it does have further options that allow you to configure services to be visible behind the firewall functionality of the router...Running some speed tests showed good results, varying around the same average for the ADSL line used for the reviews, averaging at around 940kbps downstream and 252kbps upstream..." read more »

"If you're worried about the quality of your broadband connection, Billion's BiPAC 7300GX could be what you're looking for...This is plenty for sharing web browsing or email between a few PCs, but not so good for heavy file sharing...Both options require a good deal of network knowledge, and beginners could struggle to understand them...The 7300GX isn't an ideal general purpose router, but if you need a constant network connection or portable internet access, it's worth every penny..." read more »

"The Billion 7402NX works with TPG’s IPTV service with a wired ethernet cable, but does not work over wireless...According to posts on the Whirlpool.net.au forum, you need to increase the "multicast rate" for IPTV to work over wireless, but the 7402NX does not expose this parameter to be changed...To configure it for IPTV, go to Advanced > Configuration > WAN > WAN Profile to add a new profile with: Profile Port = ADSL..." read more »

Reviews: These aren't the fastest adapters we've tested, but they're the easiest to install and they are a good solution for anyone who is having problems with their current wireless network...Rather than having fixed plugs on the adapters themselves, 1m long cords with regular-sized power plugs can be attached to each BiPAC 2070 device...As for setting them up, they can both be joined on the same network by using their built-in push buttons...

Reviews: Anyway i have a Billion 5100 Modem/Router which connects to a D-Link DIR-655, which has 2*PC's and then to a switch for XBOX 360, PS3, Lounge PC, all things on the network can see each other, access files for streaming and access the Internet all fine and dandy...The question i have is with u-Torrent i have a port forwarded...With the D/L machine now hooked into the D-Link i'm at a slight loss as what to do...As i dont have ADSL2+ yet the 7400's i didnt need one and from various reviews the D-Link DIR-655 as Wireless/Router(Gigabit) has the best range and through put, which is why i got that and hung it off my Billion 5100...

Reviews: I have noticed that the web interface for a number of my Billion 5102 routers look different (much more like the 7300 series...I also notice that the IP Subnet Mask is now 255.255.255.255 instead of 255.255.255.0, and that the Default Gateway is "isp" instead of 192.168.1.254 (there are also a few other weird settings that look different...
