"My wife and I have been wanting to buy a piano for a long time but due to cost and transportation issues it has not been feasible...One range of keys (approximately the 2nd to lowest octave) has a more noticeable electronic sound quality but I don't feel that it is noticeable enough to detract from the overall quality much...It sounds great, was easy to set up, and best of all, I got mine for less than four hundred dollars..." read more »

"Quality is good for my use...Its features and look and feel appeal to me Sound: Good sound quality compared to other pianos in the same price range...I'll be satisfied with it for the next few years before I would look again to see what products are available at that time..." read more »

"You set the tone with the AP 45...The Casio AP 45 is equipped with the ZPI sound source and thus provides sound in the best grand piano quality - with up to 64 note polyphony...16 excellent quality tones are available to you - for sound which is really close to that of an acoustic grand piano...8 reverb and 8 chorus effects respectively supplement the wide range of tones produced by your digital piano..." read more »

"An instrument has been crafted that truly delivers the joy of playing the piano to anyone who has ever dreamed of learning to play...It sounds good, and the hammer action keys give it a very acoustic piano-like action...As long as what you need is an uncomplicated, portable high quality basic digital piano (as opposed to a full-featured keyboard) I think the CDP100 is the perfect choice for the money..." read more »

"Overall, the simple, yet functional design makes the keyboard very easy to use...8 As for features, this keyboard has "a little bit of everything", which makes it good for beginnning or intermediate players...The built in songs are good for learning to play, but due to the fact that you have to look at the rather small display to figure out what keys to play, it can get a bit tricky at times..." read more »

"Recently we have been receiving reports of problems with the Uno and we are currently investigating...As biased as this will seem, I am never going to buy from M-Audio ever again...Driver hasn't been updated for a year, and these "recent problems" have been around for at least that long..." read more »

"I don't recommend it for anyone who has played at least 1 year of piano, even if you want to have a cheap substitute for your temporary use (go with Yamaha, the DGX220 is a little more expensive but has a lot more features and feels...The speakers are also not very good, whenever you try to play a song at a moderate volume, you can barely hear it over the speakers crackling...The volume range is also not good..." read more »

"It's a good way to mess around with chord progressions if you're not quite sure where to go with a song...Between this keyboard and my editing software, I'm good to go...Ignore the dummy who gave this Casio a bad review, and complained that "The size is too big if you don't have a stand..." read more »

"This is a great and fun keyboard with full size keys but NOT a full size keyboard (as in not the same size as a piano keyboard) Casio CTK-496 Electronic Keyboard with 61 Full-Size Keys and Singalong Capability, Musical Instruments, Music & Musical Equipment...Casio's 61-key CTK-496 has everything a beginner needs on board: 100 tones, 100 rhythms, 100 songs..." read more »
