Reviews for this Coolmax storage (3 user reviews): "Aluminum drive tray and case reduces temp compared with aluminum enclosures having plastic drive tray...I have connected using both the eSATA and USB ports...If the ventilation was a bit better this wouldn't be an issue..."

Reviews for this Coolmax storage (7 user reviews): "Sounds like I suddenly live next to an airport...I would have rated this higher, but as all 4 cases exhibited the same issues I can not recommend these drives...Loose wiring that would come apart when trying to put case back together with Samsung 1TB HDD Shoddy construction overall..."

Reviews for this Coolmax storage (17 user reviews): "I don't recommend this enclosure if a quiet enclosure is important to you...But I will have to say that the air flow is very good...I'm using a hard drive that is known to have heat problems so this is a good match..."

Reviews for this Coolmax storage (13 user reviews): "I've been using Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices on my home network for a couple of years now and I really like them...As consumer-level NAS devices go, Coolmax's CN-570 has a fairly large and heavy case with a bit of a clunky feel...The CN-570 is a Bring-Your-Own disk box, so when I opened the case up to install my drive, I was a bit surprised to find no disk mounting brackets...When the CN-570 is used as a network device, external USB disk, flash drives or a printer can be plugged in and made available across the network..."

Reviews for this Coolmax storage (14 user reviews): "None I ultimately decided to go with a full computer for a NAS and got a cheap Shuttle XPC and put a 1.5TB harddrive inside it with Windows Home Server installed...much better solution than standalone NAS if you want a good GUI interface...Very good transfer speeds, ease of use, and thus far reliability make it a pretty good choice in my opinion...HDD active light would be nice, it only has a power light, and maybe coolmax should throw in 10/100/1000 networking...It's only 10/100 in it's current production, even though it still gets very good transfer speeds..."
