VHS tape is long gone and DVD recorders are reasonably priced. You can record TV shows, transfer video from camcorders or old VHS tapes to blank DVDs that you can buy for 20 cents apiece. Some of these DVD recorders will even upconvert standard DVDs to 1080p HD resolution.
