Reviews: I've played about ten Jazz Basses in my time, though I've owned only one (the others were either borrowed or else instruments I would repeatedly "sample" at local stores, such that I got to know them pretty intimately...The overall tone depends heavily on which of the copious variations of Jazz Bass you get...In addition, due to the special craft in Ric bass construction, the amount of overtones and the overall character to the acoustic sound is twice as good, if not even better...I sold one a while ago, & it was a really good bass...
