"Great value for the price...Good performance in CPU and graphics, lots of flash ROM for storage...Dell uses Intel...Screen will suit most users but isn't quite nice as several of the ...Since the side buttons are easily accidentally pressed, that's a good thing...The stylus end is small so you'll want to have a good fingernail to get it out...The X50 comes in two flavors, a 416MHz and..." read more »

Dell X3
Reviews: 37 user reviews
"The X3 is styled quite differently from the X5, and looks something like a cross-breeding of an Axim and a Toshiba...Take this as a good thing or a bad thing as you will, depending on whether or not you liked the original Axim's style...Personally I prefer the rubber sides of the X5, but as it goes the compromise isn't bad..." read more »

Dell X30
PDA Specs: 240 x 320 Display Resolution
Reviews: 27 expert reviews (rating 82 / 100) • 132 user reviews
"This may be a somewhat negative way to start a review of a good product, but it seems to me that PDAs are a dying breed...It can?t be a good sign that Toshiba has stopped selling its Pocket PCs in the US, while Sony has pulled its Clie everywhere but Japan...If however, you are thinking of getting one, this Dell Axim X30 could be just what you?re looking for...However, unlike HP, Dell doesn?t ship the X30 with any universal remote software such as Nevo, no doubt to keep costs down...The key change on the X30 is that the processor has been upgraded from a 400MHz Intel PA263, to the PA270 running at the remarkably high clock of 624MHz..." read more »

Dell X3i
Reviews: 9 expert reviews (rating 80 / 100) • 37 user reviews
"Style isn't the Axim's forte, but if you want bang for your buck - including built-in WLAN and a 400MHz processor - the X3i stands head and shoulders above its rivals...When Dell shook the Pocket PC world with the aggressively priced Axim X5, its rivals could always point out that the X5 was bulkier and uglier than their devices...it still looks square, blockish and simply dull when placed next to stunners like the HP iPAQ H4150...It's a perfectly good screen too, although this is one area where the 4150 undoubtedly outshines it..." read more »

Dell X5
Reviews: 20 expert reviews (rating 65 / 100) • 194 user reviews
"The Dell Axim X5 is still a bit bigger than we'd like, but it remains a great buy because of its dual expansion slots (CompactFlash Type II and Secure Digital) and Dell's standard one-year replacement policy...The Axim X5 has an attractively tapered design, but it is still a handful for small hands...We also used the X5's infrared transceiver to exchange digital images with other PDAs using the Picture Beam feature...Although the X5 Basic model has the lowest cost of all the new Windows Mobile PDAs ($199 direct), the $325 X5 Advanced is a better choice for users who want the highest level of performance, as well as the Axim's dual expansion slots and product replacement policy..." read more »

"Build quality is good though, with a solid feel to the body and the stylus comfortable in the hand and well placed at the back on the right hand side...What?s absent from the left hand side is a jog dial that the X30 had, but I never felt I missed this...This is probably to lower the overall cost but as it?s purely cosmetic it?s certainly not something to worry about..." read more »

"The sleek Dell Axim X51 series boasts Windows Mobile 5, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, dual expansion slots, and a user-replaceable battery....With its less-than-stellar battery life, the Dell Axim X51 didn't perform up to our expectations....Now, the company is out with the new Dell Axim X51 series...The star attraction on the Dell Axim X51 is undoubtedly its 3.7-inch VGA screen......" read more »
