amazon says: I bought the PCR-500 to use with Sonar 7 PE, and have had ZERO problems so far...I just installed the drivers, set my midi in/out in Sonar, picked a softsynth, and was good to go...And honestly the number of keys doesn't matter because you can always change the octive up or down using either a set of buttons on the keyboard, or via your DAW application...see more
