"Simple to use and offering good image quality, the large Photo Fine screen is the stand out feature of a stylish little digital camera...Modest manual control, no optical viewfinder and slightly soft images tarnish an otherwise great little...The camera is easy to operate (start up is extremely fast too) offering an all-auto point and shoot mode but few manual controls even in the manual mode...Image quality, meanwhile, is good but slightly soft, colour a little..." read more »
Retrevo's Recommendation: Average Buy for Everyone
"As a rangefinder camera, the R-D1 lacks an autofocus system...The image did have strong saturation and good contrast, but experimenting at different f-stops produced some negative results...Overall, for the price, this camera is not a great buy, unless you simply love the analog rangefinders of the past (and have lots of money to spend..." read more »

"As digital cameras go, the Epson PhotoPC 600 demands a second look...There are now more than 100 digital cameras on the market, so in the gotta-have-a-gimmick tradition, the PhotoPC 600 can take 'multi-shot' photos...The zoom option allows up to 3x magnification in half-step increments..." read more »

"I have recently invested in a second hand epson 650, and it was the best investment ever...The one thing I would definately recommend with this and any other digital camera, is to invest in a good quality program to process and adjust the photos on...The picture quality is good, and it is easy to use...The functionality is good and varied, and with an LCD screen to view shots before and after..." read more »
