Reviews: After all about 80% of what is available is in SD...What swung me over to the 930 was its ability to to deliver a clear crisp and beautiful picture in SD...I am not going to comment about HD rendition except to say that its the best I've ever seen...

"Great HD picture performance Decent features...Average standard-def performance Pricey...Sadly, the performance of many HD models is fine-tuned for this higher pixel plain leaving SD a little neglected...It looks good on paper with a high-def 1024 x 768 resolution and claimed contrast rating of 3000:1 and brightness of 1000cd/m2...HD viewing was an instant revelation and looked as good as anything we'd seen from the company......" read more »

"As shipped from the factory, the Fujitsu P55XHA30WS came close to optimum white balance right out of the box...The P55XHA30WS presented almost identical gray-scale tracks each time—only the upper and lower color-temperature readings changed...That's a maximum shift of 520K—very good for a plasma display, and one that will show pictures that are quite pleasing to the eye...1 ANSI lumens average and 315:1 peak (both measured on a checkerboard pattern, not peak on/peak off)—good numbers for a plasma monitor..." read more »

"I have been following the XA2 threads and noticed the problems reported by users of the XA2 connecting HDMI output to the DVI-D input on screens...I have not noticed any of the contributors using the older Fujitsu PDS4242 and nothing comes up on a search...Can anyone tell me whether they have had success or otherwise in connecting the the XA2 HDMI output to DVI-D input on a Fujitsu PDS4242..." read more »
