target says: For the second go-over, I pre-heated one-half of the water to almost the boiling point and got much better results than with just the hot tap water alone the first time...It's just when you install it you have to put the handle in the right position or the water will start leaking...You do have to make a few passes across the carpet to get all of the water up, but then the carpet dries very fast...see more
