"I had a bad experience with the 3V106 that I also bought from Tiger...Everything went bad after 3 months, the wait times became longer and longer sometimes up to 10 mins, then the battery wont charge and finally the unit totally died after 8 months...I returned it to Invion and for 1 month I have not recivced any mail or phone call from them..." read more »

Reviews: This product should not be used to determine ground proximity for aircraft navigation...Once fixed this is good value, especially if you do not travel out of the US, but be ready to fiddle for Canadian maps (and spend the extra $ for the SD card and reader...The instructions to access the Canada maps are Ok from Invion and you can download the maps from the site given...
