"The sound quality is good and all buttons user-friendly...The Sony's receptionw as so bad that it was difficult to hear anything...The unit I purchased was not as well made, nor sounded as good as the older unit I had..." read more »

"price, portability, cd/tape/radio in one unit, good sound The JVC boomboxes are a great deal...I've had one (an older model with dual tape deck, CD, and radio) for over 10 years & it still works great! The sound is good, but it's not high end...Not a system for the picky audiophile, but just fine for the rest of us..." read more »

Basically, there was not a pair of ipod speakers that can pump it out like this thing does...Great Features, Powerful, Good Sound Heavy, Big It's great that it plays MP3s on a CD..." read more »
