"Today I am going to do a side by side comparison of the Kenwood KDC-MP642U and the Kenwood KDC-X693...Both the KDC-MP642U and the KDC-X693 have a rounded smooth, no sharp corner look, and are visually attractive...The finish on the KDC-X693, is a gloss black, and also has the 4 line display...The KDC-MP642U has a 3 band EQ, while the KDC-X693 sports a 5 band eq control...So, even though both the KDC-MP642U and the KDC-X693 are nice radios, I guess my pick would be for the KDC-X693, due mainly to the fact of the 2 year warranty..." read more »
