Reviews for this Konica Minolta scanner (13 user reviews): "From personal experience, the Scan Speed is an excellent machine...The Scan Speed was ahead of its time when it came out, initially at about £1000...The dynamic range is very important (and often gets little or no mention in reviews) as it determines the scanner's ability to capture shadow detail on slides (highlight detail on negs) and for this the Scan Speed is excellent value at that price...Incidentally Brian, this is also where the Coolscan 4000 takes out the Coolscan IV with its ability to capture shadow detail, not to mention its higher resolution allowing freedom to do some significant cropping..."
